The Biofuel division of NBL is interfacing with farmers through its unique state specific project implementation methods.

• Community –based plantation development in co-ordination with the Gram Panchayats in Uttar Pradesh, Contract farming in Andhra Pradesh
• Estate farming in Gujarat

NBL has tied up with one among India’s largest oil marketing company Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for the off-take of the Jatropha bio-energy feedstock produce in Uttar Pradesh.
